Since its foundation in 1987, the Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation( ASNRT) has pursued the advancement of education, science and patient care in nephrology throughout the Arab World.
ASNRT is organized and operated exclusively for scientific and educational purposes, including enhancing the field of nephrology by advancing the scientific knowledge and clinical practice of that discipline through stimulation of basic and clinical investigation, providing access to new knowledge through it's web site www.asnrt.net and it's official journal is AJNT and holding of scientific meetings, advocating for the development of Pan Arab health policies to improve the quality of care for renal patients, cooperating with National and International Societies and Organizations involved in the field of Nephrology and Transplantation .

ASNRT looks forward to eliminate kidney diseases in Arab Wolrd, to increase knowledge of nephrologists, renal pathologists, and immunologists. Our goal is to have an Arab Nephrology Book that descaibes the endemic diseases that affect the kidney e.g Schistosoma, Malaria etc, an Arab Registery for Renal Diseases , an Arab Netwok to Exchange Organs and an Arab library includes all papers puplished by Arab nephrologists.
